Missing, I would say use of public transport especially buses by children (and bus stops) would be good to recognise. And also the specific needs of babies and children in pushchairs for access to public transport and for moving around.

These child-friendly principles ensure that spaces around Hackney promote active travel, play, closeness with nature, healthy lifestyles, and lessens road-danger. These principles will have benefits for the wider community also, because where children can play and be active safely, everyone else can too. Could add reference to car dominance in our neighbourhoods and need to redress the balance in favour of children and young people.

I think that the principles will lead to more active travel, play, promote health and improve the environment. It's great that children's needs get a higher priority in the Council's planning and in the way our streets will look.
